DayZ Badlands

Questions about our DayZ servers

How do I join The Resistance DayZ servers?

Start DayZ, open the server browser, choose the Community tab and search for "The Resistance". You can also copy a server's IP from this page and use Direct Connect in the DayZ Launcher. If a server needs mods, the launcher downloads them from the Steam Workshop when you join.

Do I need the Badlands DLC to play on your Badlands servers?

Yes. Badlands (Nasdara Province) is a paid DayZ expansion, so you need it on Steam to join our Badlands servers. Chernarus is part of the base game.

What's the difference between your servers?

Servers on the same map share the terrain but not the rules. PVP is classic DayZ survival; Every server page lists its group limit, raid times, wipe schedule and what makes it different.

How does VIP priority queue work?

Buy VIP in the shop and sign in with Discord. Within five minutes your Steam ID gets priority queue on the servers of the map you bought it for, plus the VIP role on Discord.

When do the servers restart and wipe?

Every server has its own restart times and wipe schedule. Its card shows a live countdown to the next restart and, when one is planned, the next wipe.

Is The Resistance free to play?

Yes. Playing on our servers is free; you only need DayZ (and the Badlands expansion for Badlands). VIP and skins are optional extras that keep the servers running.
